Measures concerning community sentence

On February 1st, the government lifted several of the measures imposed due to covid 19. In light of this, the Norwegian Correctional Service also reduced the number of measures in prisons and probation offices.

Execution of a sentence in the community shall continue as far as possible within the applicable infection prevention and control rules.

Activation

If the probation offices and ND centres find that private providers, charities, etc. can no longer offer the convicted persons the usual activation measures, the probation offices shall try to find alternative activation measures as far as is possible.
